Occupational 
Therapy

A child may need occupational therapy if he or she is having difficulty with one or more of the following:

•Poor fine motor skills
•Immature gross motor skills
•Difficulty with visual-motor skills   (such as cutting, coloring, writing, manipulating objects)
•Difficulty with everyday activities such as eating, sleeping, brushing teeth or getting dressed
•Oversensitive or under-reactive to touch, movement, sights, sounds, or pain
•Easily overwhelmed, limited coping skills
•Difficulty with transitions, changes in the environment or routine
•Poor attention or difficulty sitting still
•Accident prone, clumsy
